Paul Asbury Seaman Somewhat of a departure from his usual style, this is an almost unbelievably beautiful album. I kept waiting for the excitement to wear off and it never did. I am amazed that more ambient artists don’t take advantage of the meditative quality of Eastern bells and strings. The combination of acoustic and electronic instruments has always been a favorite mix for me, from Kitaro’s early work in the 1970s, and it’s been done particularly well on this album.
